VAN DREW CRUISES TO VICTORY OVER “PINOCCHIO” MULLOCK AT STOCKTON DEBATE

October 22, 2026 — United States Congressman Jeff Van Drew’s campaign released the following statement following tonight’s Stockton University/Press of Atlantic City Debate.

“After months of lies, Congressman Van Drew thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to set the record straight tonight and offered voters a crystal clear contrast that showed us all exactly why he’s going to be re-elected decisively in November,”  said Van Drew’s Campaign Manager and Director of Political Affairs Ron Filan. “When Congressman Van Drew spoke about leading the fight in Congress to protect and strengthen Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and food assistance for seniors and the most vulnerable Americans, Mullock was more concerned with restoring those benefits for illegal aliens.”

“When Congressman Van Drew spoke at length about one record shattering federal investment after another that has delivered for South Jersey communities, Mullock repeated the same tired and disproven lies about budget cuts that never happened and even struggled to tell the truth about his own record and the federal assistance the Congressman delivered for Cape May,” Filan continued. “When Congressman Van Drew talked about how things are still too damn expensive and we need to do even more to bring down the cost of living, Mullock doubled down on his plan to impose the largest tax increase in American history which would mean higher income taxes for working families, higher social security taxes for seniors, and higher taxes for waiters, waitresses, bartenders, casino workers, and young families even if they make less than $150,000 a year. And finally, Congressman Van Drew has vowed to continue the fight against Atlantic City Electric and the state agency responsible for increasing utility bills, but Mullock remains unable to explain why a top leader at the electric company was all in for him. Like we said before, the choice this Fall is crystal clear.”
