DEMOCRATS WON’T GET THEIR WISH THIS CHRISTMAS

December 5, 2025 — United States Congressman Jeff Van Drew’s campaign released the following statement in response to a ridiculous post from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) that placed Congressman Van Drew and dozens of other prominent House Republicans on a “Retirement Watch List” heading into 2026.  

“The Democrats can write to Santa and leave out all the milk and cookies they want this Christmas, but Congressman Van Drew isn’t going anywhere except back to Washington where he will continue to speak out, fight for, and deliver for the people of South Jersey,” said Van Drew’s Campaign Manager and Director of Political Affairs Ron Filan. “Honestly though, I can’t blame them for trying to start this rumor mill up again considering they’ve wasted more than $15 million over the last few years trying and failing miserably to defeat him. Here’s an idea for the Democrats in Washington. Instead of making up new bedtime stories to tell each other, how about you cut the nonsense and join us in fighting for the American people and start working to make their lives better.”
