VAN DREW: BE UNAFRAID; KEEP THE FAITH; BELIEVE IN AMERICA

September 15, 2025 — United States Congressman Jeff Van Drew released the following statement on the path forward following the murder of Charlie Kirk. 

“What we saw last week with the murder of Charlie Kirk was the inevitable conclusion of the vile and disgusting rhetoric coming from the Radical Left that Trump is Hitler, Republicans are Nazis, and that the survival of Democracy depends on our demise when all we’re trying to do is preserve the United States of America that we all love so much,” said United States Congressman Jeff Van Drew (R – South Jersey) “We know that when you have good strong Republican principles, and you have a strong  President, and you’re unapologetic about your faith in God, you are called a racist, you are called a Nazi, you are called a fascist, you are called a coward. I can give you the list. I’ve been called every one of them by the 5 to 500 people that follow me around protesting and using the same rhetoric the shooter did. It’s got to stop and I hope one day everyone can come together and be respectful, but you know what’s not going to stop – is us!”

“Be unafraid, keep the faith, believe in America, and put on the Armor of God like Charlie did,” added Van Drew. “I am going to continue to stand up and speak out and they can do what they want – they can protest, and they can yell, and they can scream, and they can threaten, but guess what – We will never back down because the United States of America is the best nation on the face of the Earth and it is worth it!”
