Van Drew Statement on the Assassination of Charlie Kirk

September 10, 2025 — United States Congressman Jeff Van Drew released the following statement on the assassination of Conservative activist and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.

“We are all praying for Charlie Kirk’s family during this unspeakable tragedy,” said United States Congressman Jeff Van Drew. “There will be plenty of time in the days ahead for law enforcement to conduct its investigation and get to the bottom of this horrific act of political violence that has no place in American politics, but right now our focus needs to be on them. Charlie was well known as a happy warrior who never promoted the type of hate or violence that he became the victim of today.”
