Van Drew Celebrates Authorization of Grant to Improve Atlantic City Infrastructure

June 9, 2025 — Congressman Van Drew announced the official authorization of the $10.3 million RAISE grant for the Atlantic Avenue Corridor Revitalization and Safety project, a key step toward revitalizing Atlantic City.

“This is a huge moment for Atlantic City, and I am excited to see this project finally moving forward,” said Congressman Van Drew. “After years of hard work, this grant has officially been authorized, and now we can begin making critical improvements to Atlantic Avenue. From repaving the roadway and upgrading streetlight synchronization to implementing enhanced safety measures, this project will make a big difference for both residents and visitors. The revitalization of this corridor will support local businesses, drive economic development in the area, and strengthen the heart of Atlantic City.
