Van Drew Renews Demand for New Jersey State Legislators to SHOOT DOWN a Bailout of Greedy Foreign Energy Companies

June 26, 2023 — United States Congressman Jeff Van Drew is once again calling on the New Jersey State Senate and the New Jersey General Assembly to reject legislation to bailout the Green New Deal wind projects faltering off our coast.

“We’ve been sounding the alarm for weeks now that greedy foreign energy companies were going to come looking for an American taxpayer bailout and today they reared their ugly heads in Trenton,” said United States Congressman Jeff Van Drew. “Once again New Jersey’s hard working middle class families are being sold out and screwed over by their own government which is preparing to send BILLIONS of their hard earned tax dollars – originally intended to mitigate the skyrocketing utility bills associated with offshore wind – overseas to pad the profits and line the pockets of greedy foreign energy company executives. Now is the time for anyone with even an ounce of common sense left in Trenton to come together regardless of party and reject this bailout before it’s too late.”
